Do you want to have a memorable Tuscany experience? Villa Carla is a charming 18th-century Manor estate with its own private pool, enchanting park, and chapel. The villa is conveniently placed near the walled city of Lucca (5km), stores (3km), and the motorway exit (7.6 km). As a result, it is great for those wishing to discover the Tuscan region.
The large property is suitable for a group of friends and families who want to spend time together and relax in total seclusion. Villa Carla can sleep up to 12 guests and has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Meals made by the estate’s resident employees can be requested and paid for separately.
The living areas of this magnificent property take up the entire ground floor: a very spacious and exquisite dining room with entrance to both the front and back gardens and a well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of downtime in the billiards room or the TV-equipped sitting room. The service bathroom completes the ground floor.
A very sophisticated sitting room is on the first floor, furnished in antique style with antique furniture, with direct access to the yard via the external staircase. There are two large double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with a shared bathroom, making it ideal for a family with children.
The second storey houses the other two double bedrooms with en-suite baths.
There is a wide dining table beneath a pergola in the well-kept garden where you can eat al fresco. A magnificent large swimming pool (18×8 m) with a gate is not far from the house, making it perfect for families travelling with little children.
When staying at the villa, clients can choose from a variety of day outings, such as sunbathing on the beaches of Versilia, visiting the beautiful landmarks of Florence, sipping wine at one of Tuscany’s most recognised vineyards, or exploring the wild and unspoilt nature of Maremma.

Pricing information
Standard booking conditions include a minimum of 3-4 nights for villas and 2-3 nights for apartments. Different booking conditions may apply for specific properties or seasons. Always check booking availability and rates for your stay. If you have specific requests don't hesitate to make an enquiry. The bedrooms made available, where the number of guests is below the maximum occupancy, and in case of a reduced rate due to the lower occupancy, will be adequate for the number of guests to stay there. The accommodation is for exclusive use.
Weekly price includes:

- Arrival time is on Saturday between 4 pm and 7 pm
Extra (to be paid locally in cash):

- Air conditioning (on request): 1.00€ per kWh
- Check In after 8pm extra cost of € 50- after 10 pm extra cost € 100. Any late arrival has to be agreed in advance
Safety deposit: € 2000
For this facility: A security deposit must be paid in cash to the key holder upon arrival (any currency). This is to cover the cost of any damage or breakages to the property during your stay.
This sum will be reimbursed to you on the morning of departure, less any applicable claims. If you don't pay the deposit, the key holder may refuse to let you into the house.
All villas provide for the retention of the security deposit, before check-in, by pre-authorisation on the credit card or by bank transfer.
The deposit will be refunded upon departure, less any damage or consumption (in excess of that agreed in the booking). Greater compensation for further damage is always legally valid.
Terms & conditions
The below specific Booking conditions are related to Villa Carla. These specific conditions overrule the general conditions. For the other matters are still valid the General Booking Conditions
Point 1. Booking: The full amount for bookings made is due eight weeks before the beginning of the lease
Point 3 Arrival / Departure: Clients are required to check in between 4 and 7 p.m. and depart no later than 10 a.m. on the day of departure. You must give ScenTravel notice in advance and in writing if you desire to schedule an arrival or departure at a time other than those that are specified. Customers should get in touch with the ScenTravel office or the property contact in the event of flight delays or other inconveniences while travelling. The key holder must be paid in full upon arrival. Late arrivals are challenging to manage, and when they can, there will be an additional charge. NB: please be aware that it is typically not possible to schedule arrivals after 10 p.m. The decision to permit clients to enter the house at hours other than those specified is up to the key holder's discretion. ScenTravel disclaims all liability in this situation.
Point 5. Cancellation by the Customer: The cancellation will lead to the following penalties that will be expressed as a percentage of the amount on the booking: Date of the Cancellation’s Notification (Days before start of booking period) Penalty (% of the total amount of booking)
- At least eight weeks before arrival: 30%
- Eight to six weeks before arrival: 50%
- Six weeks or less before scheduled arrival: 100%
We require written notice of cancellations.
Point 7.1 COVID-19 Policy: In the current COVID-19 environment, we recognize that flexibility is necessary for travel planning. As a result, if the nation where the "party leader" (the person in whose name the reservation is made, to whom all contact is directed, and as such is liable for the rental) or the Italian Government imposes travel restrictions (border closures and/or travel bans), it will be possible to cancel the reservation free of charge from 30 days prior to arrival until the arrival date. In this situation, Scentravel will either refund the money or issue a voucher for the same amount that can be used on a future reservation. Please note that the requirement of a Covid certificate (Covid test, Covid vaccination, etc.) for entering Italy or returning to your country is not included in the travel restrictions. If the local authorities require a Covid certificate to stay in a touristic accommodation like our villas, there will be no reimbursement.
This applies to all booked bookings until 20 December 2022
Point 11 Contract Termination / Damages: Children under the age of 2 who are infants are not counted in the occupancy statistics.When reserving the property, it must be specified if the group includes more than one infant. Each child over the age of 2 will be included in the villa occupancy calculation, whether or not they are using a baby cot.
